We continue to publish Oleksandr Konysky’s book "Taras Shevchenko-Hrushevsky" (1898). Today – the subsection "9. September – December 1846" of the section "Taras Shevchenko during his stay in Ukraine (1845 – 1847)".
On the evening of the first day of Christmas, the brothers of the "Cyril and Methodius" went to "carol" at Mykola Hulak’s. Shevchenko was already there.

We continue to publish Oleksandr Konysky’s book "Taras Shevchenko-Hrushevsky" (1898). Today – the subsection "8. Shevchenko in Kyiv in 1846" of the section "Taras Shevchenko during his stay in Ukraine (1845 – 1847)".
Shevchenko generally loved company: he had many acquaintances in Kyiv; however, he was more willing to visit places where simple customs prevailed.
