On the back left pencil inscription: Equipment schooners 1849.

Dated on the basis of a Butakov's memorandum to Obruchev 30.IV 1849, where description of repair schooner "Constantine" is fully consistent with the image [State public library, Department of Manuscripts, fund I, 1186].

A picture was preserved in album Obruchev.

In literature known as "Schooners on calking" [S. E. Raevsky, Painter Taras Shevchenko, X., 1939, Table. 48].
