Belov picture was inscription by hand Shevchenko: In peninsula Kulandy tract Dzhan takty Bulak; tomb Moula dosa Mal. On the back at the bottom edge – the same inscription in pencil.

Tract Dzhan-Takty-Bulak, or Zhan-Takty-Bulak (which means "source, around which grow camel thorn"), located on a peninsula Kulandy.
