In the figure was an inscription in ink author: Dustan's grave.

Period of making picture set by the residence time of the expedition at the Dustan's grave and finishing of A. I. Butakov's report on the expedition – 15.I 1850, as evidenced by a report A. I. Butakov to battalion number 2 commander of the Orenburg line [Institute of Literature, fund 1, № 406, fol. 77].

About Dustan's grave Shevchenko mentions in the story "Gemini"; in the album of 1846 – 1850 on the back of sheet 45 is an inscription hand Shevchenko Dustan from Chumenej kin benefit (see number 93).
