Top right ink marked: Number 117 – 177. On the back top left – inscription in pencil by hand Shevchenko: NN. St. Nicholas 1372.

Dated on the basis of record Shevchenko in his diary on 28 October 1857:

"Today the weather is too much let me draw out into the street. I somehow drew the Church of St. Nicholas of Pochayna, built in 1372. Probably, too, to mark some bloodshed".
