Picture may be made at Kara-Tau expedition in Hanga Baba or at Turkmen cemetery near Novopetrovsk fort, which mentioned by A. E. Uskova:

"Shevchenko often walking with me, and I was glad to such other person, for the most part, we went to the Kyrgyz and it is the same Turkmen cemetery, which was not far from the gardens. Here he analyzed the marks made on the monuments, tools, instruments that he recognize what did the deceased during the life" [Institute of Literature National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Department of Manuscripts, Fund 77/124].
