Top right ink marked: Number 117 – 120.

K. Oberuchev in the article "For biography of Taras Shevchenko", describing neighborhood of Novopetrovsk fort, writed: "In the steppe and in the hollows of the surrounding hills are seen tents of nomadic Kirghiz" ["Kyiv antiquity", 1900, Vol. II, p. 157]. In this figure, obviously, one of these Kazakh encampment.

On the back – sketches to drawings "Samaritan" and "In the barn".
