In the album by Br. Zaleski «La vie des steppes kirghizes» (Paris, 1865) between the etchings of well-known Shevchenko paintings placed etching "Mangyshlak garden". By composition, manner of execution, transfer of light and shadow and others original, after which created this etching was undoubtedly made by Shevchenko until summer 1852 [see G. P. Palamarchuk, Shevchenko pictures in an album of etchings by Bronislaw Zaleski, "Proceedings of the ninth Shevchenko Scientific Conference", Kyiv, 1961, p. 193]
