Lower left Chestahivsky's hand ink inscription: "The death of Khmelnytsky" right at the top: № 77.

Above from the shading lurks the figure, the content is not associated with this composition. Right in the fields of the two sketches of the characters on the same sketch.

Picture dates from the same two sketches 1842-1843 on the same subject.

The first known picture "Death of Bogdan Khmelnitsky" drawed in 1836 – 1837.

In a Chestahivsky's list – № 68, entitled "Death Zinovii Bohdan Khmelnytsky".
