At the bottom of the sheet caption: 3 rubles., 595; uni gus and the label: 50 – 38; column above: 18581 / 18571 / 1853. Sketches and inscriptions found during restoration in 1955 as a result of separation of sheet from the mount paper on which were inscriptions: above left in pencil: Number 32; below: Ks. wst. 4821.

On the worksheet placed the sketch of horse and on the sticked vertical strip of paper a little sketch of male profile (like the extreme right character of the picture "Cossack feast"). Both outline partially cut along the upper and side edges of the sheet. This indicates that they originated from before Shevchenko dated December 25, 1838 picture, which on the face of the sheet.
