Shevchenko's drawing, which produced prints, dating approximately from the end of 1841 – beginning 1842.

Illustration to text on page 83 the book, where stories about Suvorov met with Khan Shahin Giray in Bakhchissaray Palace after the Russian regiments enter in the Crimea.

Architectural elements, wall paintings and figure Tatar in turbans, depicted in the background prints, close to ones drawed later in watercolor "In the harem".

At December 14, 1842 was announced in the press that the first issue of "History of Suvorov" sent to subscribers [Northern Bee. – 1842. – 14 December], where the artwork was reproduces for the first time.
