The illustration to the text on pages 208 – 209 of book. Suvorov was suspended from command of the troops by Paul. When saying goodbye to the soldiers, Suvorov stripped himself of orders, put them on a drum and shouted: "I leave here all that you deserve…"

Illustration not signed by Shevchenko, but his authorship is confirmed by common parts of the illustrations of others signed. In particular, the personalities of Suvorov and soldiers with pencil sketch. This unsigned artwork as a work of Shevchenko with the title "Farewell Suvorov with his army in Tulchin" was first identified by K.V. Shyrotsky [Shyrotsky K. Shevchenko as an illustrator // Shevchenko's collection. – St. Petersburg, 1914. – Vol. 1. – p. 104].

April 15, 1843 it was announced in the press that the second issue of "History of Suvorov" sent to subscribers [Northern Bee. – 1843. – 15 April], where the artwork was reproduces for the first time.
