Taras Shevchenko. Portrait of an unknown woman in the lilac dress. Watercolour (28,3 × 21,7 cm). [April 1845 – 1846]. Taras Shevchenko National Museum, inv. number g – 703.

Right at the top – the ink mark: number 68.

The manner of the portrait close to "Portrait of an unknown woman in brown dress" dated 1845, and portraits of members Katerynych familydated in 1846.

In the journal "Mirror" (1911, № 9, p. 4) this portrait reproduced with landscape background, which is not present in the original, reproduces here.

Registered as № 61 in a Chestahivsky's list.

Storage areas: collection of D.L. Mordovets, V. Tarnowski's Museum of Ukrainian antiquity in Chernigov, Chernihiv Regional Historical Museum, Gallery of pictures Shevchenko, Kharkiv.

In 1929 exposed in an exhibition of works of T. Shevchenko in Chernihiv (Catalogue, p. 17, № 9).
