Taras Shevchenko. Synagogue. Paper, Sepia (21,5 × 30 cm). [IX – X 1846]. Taras Shevchenko National Museum, inv. number g – 407.

Picture was made duging travel Shevchenko in Kyiv and Volyn provinces in 1846.

In all these sources incorrectly identified techniques – watercolor.

In 1929 exposed in an exhibition of works of T. Shevchenko in Chernihiv (Catalogue, p. 18, № 17).
