Portrait of Platon Alekseevich Zakrevsky. Oil on canvas (52 × 40,5 cm). Taras Shevchenko National Museum, inv. zh – 87.

March 10, 1930 picture transferred from the Literary Museum of the Institute of Russian Literature of the USSR ("Pushkin's huse", Leningrad) to the Institute of Taras Shevchenko (Kharkiv) as the work of Shevchenko and as his original work was recorded to inventory of gallery of pictures T. Shevchenko (Kharkiv). In the State Museum of Taras Shevchenko (Kyiv), this portrait is listed as the work of doubtful Shevchenko's authorship.

Artistic and technical level of performance in comparison to the original portrait of P. A. Zakrevsky and some difference of colors make it hard to attribute this work to Shevchenko.
