Taras Shevchenko. Kyiv from the Dnipro and other sketches. Pencil. [V-IX 1843]. Institute of Literature National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, inv. number 106 (album 1839 – 1843).

Left bottom is marked: 19. Sketch located on the back of 10th sheet in album 1839 – 1843.

Later over landscape was drawn below two figures of horsemen, peasant, ferry and tent with cook as incomplete idea of unknown composition. Free part of paper at the top used for three outline figures of peasant women. There is earlier sketch of the same landscape.

Dated by time of the first trip Shevchenko in Ukraine and shown in figure vegetation.

Storage areas within the Album: no later than 1885 – came to the V.V. Tarnowski's collection; from 1899 – V. Tarnowski's Chernihiv museum of ukrainian antiquities, 1925 – Chernihiv Historical Museum, 1933 – Taras Shevchenko institute; since 1936 – Shevchenko Institute of ukrainian literature.
