Sketch for watercolor "In the harem". In addition to sketch on the top two figures of one of the characters – Turk in turban, below right – half-erased sketches of human figures.

Figure is the closest to the composition for watercolor "In the harem".

Registered by G.M. Chestahivsky in 1861 in description the Shevchenko's graphics, that were in his academic workshop at number 100 as a picture that on the back [Department of manuscripts and textology Shevchenko Literature institute National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, fund 1, № 459].

Dated estimated time of watercolors, not later than May 1843.
